I don't like doing request work because I'm not very good about motivation, and unfortunately no money usually = no motivation.  Because I really need to work on raising the bar on my skill set, however, I've decided to take requests for a little while.  I have a limited amount of space for requests, and once that fills up I dunno how long it'll be before I open it again [if ever].  You can see how much space I have left on my website here:

Specifically check the Completion Status page for details.  I have 10 slots total for requests, 5 for trades, and I'm not sure if I'll be increasing either of them or not.

There are a few things I'd like you to keep in mind, however.

I am willing to work on anything that you request, but I would heavily appreciate if you read my terms of service [linked below] beforehand so that you can understand what I feel are my strong suits vs. my weaknesses.  Whether or not you do, I wanted to make one clear point:

I DO NOT DO PORN OR FETISH WORK.

In other words, all requests of that nature will quickly be turned down, and you might even be blocked simply for asking about them.  Aside from that, I'd say my strongest point are human women with animal features [example = neko women], and my weakest would probably be feral work.  I think I'm pretty good at shading with a pencil, but my coloring needs some work.  I mostly base my work around anime, but because I use my tattoo magazines to help me out, I have been getting fairly more realistic...so I'd say my strong suit is realistic anime.

If you request a piece, it will technically be yours when I complete it.  You may use it however you like, under the conditions that you do not tamper with my piece nor sell/re-sell it; [u][b]it is still copyrighted to me[/b][/u].  Because I'm already there, let's delve a little deeper into the fine print: Because requests are free art blah blah blah and I receive nothing in return, blah blah blah please do not expect the piece to be the most wonderful thing you've ever seen, or even to be completed...blah blah blah.  I will do my best to accept the requests I get, but understand that the request work is more for me than it is you, blah blah blah.  Thank you for your understanding.

There's an entire section in my ToS that addresses this, but because it's small I guess I'll be more specific:

Because I want an equivalent exchange, trades will work one of two ways:
1) You will leave the piece up I create up to me.  Feel free to tell me things you do and don't like so that I can do a piece of something you'll feel is worth the trade, but ultimately you will not be able to determine what your picture will be until it's complete.
...or...
2) You can read the Extra Notes section of my ToS and you can request something listed as something I feel I do well.  Feel free to ask questions about if I think I can or can't do something well, and that may or may not result in something different than what's on that list, but ultimately stick to that list, and we can easily work something out.

Either way, the only pieces that I'll request of you are the following (In order from most desirable to least...though all are certainly wanted haha):
-My fursona, Wei
-My dog, Mr. Jones (schnoodle/schnauzer-poodle mix) [ask for photos if I don't post them first - I have plenty]
-The Last Unicorn fanart
-One of my Lunias Characters [ask me for details]*
-Tiger
-Raccoon

I'm alright with two people taking the same request, so don't feel rushed like you have to take your piece of choice before it's gone :3  Not only that, but if you do option (1) up there, then you have the option of artistic liberty as well...however if you take option (2), it's only fair that you give me the chance at requesting something of you as well [it won't necessarily be from the list above, but those are certainly at the top of my list].  Either way, we'll discuss it before actually making the trade. Also, if your skill set is FAR above mine, I will ask you to stick to a simple sketch.  Otherwise I'll feel bad that I can't offer you something of equal value in return.  Thank you for understanding.

*This would be something semi-complex, and if one were to take it I would give multiple pieces in return, not just one.  Specifically anthropomorphic; if nobody trades for it, I'll happily commission someone in the future

Lastly, I prefer Trades over Requests any day, and to be frank I'm usually more motivated to take a trade than a request.  So please, lean towards trades when you do either...and don't forget to check the completion status page!  It will tell you if I have an open slot or not, and if I'm full I really don't appreciate more requests.  Thank you :3
